WXB26 - The Bulldogs Weather Service Automated Marine and Local Weather for the New York City Metropolitan Area

About This Station WXB26 is a 24/7 automated meteorological broadcast service operated by the Bulldogs Weather Service student meteorology club. We provide continuous updates including current conditions, seven-day forecasts, and specialized marine observations for the five boroughs and surrounding coastal waters.

Broadcast Features

• Real-Time Data: Direct integration with the National Weather Service (NWS) API.

• Emergency Alerts: Special Weather Statements and Marine Statements are injected into the loop instantly.

• Automated Voice: High-fidelity broadcasts featuring "Paul" (TTS).

• Weekly Testing: Required Weekly Tests (RWT) are conducted every Wednesday at 11:30 AM.
